Half-timbered Santoku Elite
Traditionally riveted and with two handle scales made of high-quality plastic, the professional series produces knives with an above-average level of cutting performance. The wide, strong 18 cm long blade of the Fachwerk Santoku knife can be used universally for cutting meat, fish and vegetables, making it a real all-rounder. The blade has the shape of a Japanese santoku, but is also equipped with parts of a European chef's knife, thus combining the respective good properties in one knife. The balanced design of the blade and handle area makes cutting easier and brings out the haptic qualities.
- Over 40 work steps - from forging to hardening, grinding and assembly, our traditional hand-forged quality knives are created.
- Forged blade - Each blade is hot forged from a single piece of chrome-molybdenum-vanadium steel and then hardened to approx. 58° Rockwell.
- Long-lasting sharpness - The blades are honed on a ceramic disk with an angle of 14° on each side. This results in extreme sharpness and high cutting ability along the entire length of the blade.
- Well-balanced - The so-called bolster serves to optimize the balance of our professional knives and prevents the hand from slipping into the blade.
